Vietnam has a population of more than 70 million people, comprising 54 different ethnic groups that possess historically rich cultural backgrounds and interesting folk arts. The country has more than 1,000 historical, cultural, and architectural sites which have been officially classified as world heritage.

Vietnam contains a rich mixture of religions, reflecting the influences of many cultures. Traditional Vietnamese religion included elements from Indian beliefs and three Chinese religious systems: Mahayana Buddhism, Taoism, and Confucianism. Other religions include relatively new sects such as Hoa Hao, associated with Buddhism, and Caodaism, a synthesis of Christianity, Buddhism, and Confucianism. Christianity, particularly the Roman Catholic church, claims as many as 6 million followers.

Itinerary Highlights
Day01- Ho Chi Minh City
Arrive in Saigon. Ho Chi Minh City or Saigon, situated in the southern part of Vietnam, is still called Saigon by most of the natives. This modern city used to be considered as the Pearl of the Orient by the French. The city with its teeming metropolis mingled with the elegance of ancient culture, gives you a microcosmic view of the entire nation. After your arrival you will transferred to the hotel. Check in at the hotel. Rest of the day is free at leisure. Overnights stay at the hotel.

Day 02- Ho Chi Minh City
In the morning get ready for the exciting tour where you will get a comprehensive introduction to vibrant Saigon. This tour would commence with a visit to Chinatown. Stop off at the Thien Hau temple, dedicated to the goddess of seafarers, and Nha Rong wharf, where Ho Chi Minh first departed Vietnam in 1911. Delve deeper into Cholon district visiting Binh Tay Market where locals barter for wares. Following the market visit enjoy Vietnam's national dish, a steaming bowl of Pho noodle soup. After lunch visit the War Remnants Museum, displaying items associated with the Vietnam War. During a walking tour view the Reunification Palace that was formerly the Presidential Palace and site of the South Vietnamese surrender in 1975, and some French architectural heritage including Notre Dame Cathedral, the General Post office whose architect was Gustave Eiffel of the eponymous tower, and the Opera house.

Day 03- Ho Chi Minh City.
In the morning, visit the famous Cu Chi Tunnels, an incredible underground tunnel network constructed by Vietnamese resistance fighters during the long struggle for independence. Evening is free at leisure.

Day 04- Ho Chi Minh City- Hanoi
In the morning get ready for your departure to Hanoi, an elegant city located on the banks of the Red River with tranquil Hoan Kiem Lake at its heart. North of the lake are the bustling streets of the Old Quarter, each street named after the trade that used to take place there. Arrive in Hanoi. Meet and transfer to hotel. Overnight stay in Hanoi.

Day 05- Hanoi
A full day city tour of Vietnam's capital. Hanoi is a unique Asian city with tree-lined boulevards, French colonial architecture, peaceful lakes and oriental temples. The city tour includes such sights as Ho Chi Minh's Mausoleum, the One Pillar Pagoda, the Fine Arts Museum, the Temple of Literature, the Lake of the Restored Sword. Visit the Old Quarter. In the evening explore the city on your own. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 06- Hanoi
In the morning transfer to Halong by road. A cruise in a private junk on the emerald green waters of Halong Bay, among the 3,000 spectacular limestone islands. The cruise ends with a fresh seafood lunch on board. Return to Hanoi by road in the late afternoon. Rest of the day is free at leisure. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 07- End of Tour
In the morning get ready for your flight to your home destination.
