Itinerary Highlights
Day 01: Delhi - Bhubaneshwar
Arrival at Bhubaneshwar airport. Upon arrival at Bhubaneshwar,
transfer to the hotel. Bhubaneshwar had once 7000 temples that
were built between 8th and 13th centuries.
Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 02: Bhubaneshwar - Konark - Puri
After breakfast city tour including visit of some of the finest
examples of the classical temple architecture like Lingraj,
Rajrani and Mukteshwar temples. Later drive to Puri en route
visiting Konark temple. Konark was once the centre of Buddhism
in India. Now it is famous for the Hindu temples. The world
famous Surya Temple is dedicated to God Surya (Sun).
After visiting this temple drive to Puri. Late evening arrival
in Puri and transfer to the hotel for overnight stay.
Day 03: Puri - Tapta Pani (about 310 km)
After breakfast drive to Tapta Pani. En route visiting Chilka
Lake and roadside semi tribal villages.
Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 04: Tapta Pani - Rayagada (about 220 km)
After breakfast drive to Rayagada. En route visiting Desia
Kondh Tribal Village in Puttasingh area. Then will embark
on a mild hiking on the Niyamagiri Hills to view the Dongaria
Kondh Tribal hamlets.
Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 05: Rayagada - Jeypore (about 220 km)
After breakfast drive to Jeypore. En route visiting Dongariya
Kondh Tribe at Chatikona. In the evening visit market of Bonda
and Godhaba Tribes.
Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 06: Jeypore - Bhubaneshwar - Delhi
After breakfast drive to Bhubaneshwar airport to board flight
back.
