Itinerary Highlights
Day 1: Delhi - Rishikesh
Early in the morning drive down to Rishikesh. En rout stop at
Chital Grand for tea break. Later proceed to Rishikesh. Reach
Rishikesh and check-in the Hotel.
Evening at leisure. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 2: Rishikesh - Joshimath
Morning after breakfast drive to Joshimath.
Upon arrival at Joshimath check-into the hotel for overnight
stay.
Day 3: Joshimath - Govind Ghat - Ghangariya
Morning after breakfast drive down (21 Km) to Govind Ghat
and then trek (14 Km) to reach Ghangariya. Reach Ghangariya.
Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 4: Ghangariya - Hemkund Sahib - Ghangariya
Early in the morning start trekking (6 Km) to reach "Hemkund
Sahib". One of the most revered of all Sikh Shrines,
The Hemkund Sahib, the Worlds Highest Gurudwara, is situated
at an altitude of 4,329 mts.
Afternoon trek down to reach Ghangariya for overnight stay
at hotel.
Day 5: Ghangariya - Govind Ghat - Badrinath
Morning after an early breakfast trek down (12 Km.) to reach
Govind Ghat. Later proceed to Badrinath. Upon arrival at Badrinath
check-in the Hotel.
In the evening visit the famous Hindu temple of Badrinath.
Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 6: Badrinath - Srinagar
After an early breakfast drive via. Joshimath to Srinagar.
Upon arrival check-in the hotel for overnight stay.
Day 7: Srinagar - Mussoorie
Morning after breakfast drive to Mussoorie en route visiting
Dehra Dun.
Reach Mussoorie and check in the hotel for overnight stay.
Day 8: Mussoorie - Paonta Sahib - Ropar
Early in the morning after breakfast drive to "Ponta Sahib".
Guru Govind Singh, the 10th Sikh Guru lived here. Later in the
afternoon drive down to reach Rupnagar (Ropar).
Upon arrival check-in the tourist hotel for overnight stay.
Day 9: Ropar - Anandpur Sahib - Amritsar
In the morning after breakfast drive down to Amritsar en route
visiting Anandpur Sahib.
Later proceed to Amritsar. Upon arrival check-in the hotel
for overnight stay.
Day 10: Amritsar - Delhi
Early in the morning visit the famous "The Golden Temple".
Amritsar, founded in 1577 by Ram Das, the fourth guru of the
Sikhs, means Pool of nectar, referring to the sacred tank
around which the Sikhs' Golden Temple is built.
Rest of the day is free at leisure and in the evening transfer
to the railway station to board the Shatabadi Express to Delhi.
