Itinerary Highlights
Day 01: Delhi - Madurai
Arrival at Madurai airport, Madurai the second largest city
of Tamil Nadu.
On arrival, check in at the hotel.
Visit an interesting ceremony at Meenakshi Temple of taking
lord Shiva in a procession with the musicians to the Goddess
Parvati for the night halt. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 02: Madurai - Rameshwaram
In the morning visit the great Meenakshi Temple dedicated to
the consort of Lord Shiva with its towering Gopurams. Goddess
Meenakshi and Lord Shiva are the main deities of the temple.
Later, drive to Rameshwaram.
Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 03: Rameshwaram
Visit the Ramanathaswamy Temple, Only Hindus are allowed to
enter the inner sanctorum.
Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 04: Rameshwaram - Madurai
Drive to Madurai. On arrival in Tanjore, check in at the hotel.
Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 05: Madurai - Delhi
Flight back to Delhi.
