highest bobsleigh track, dog sled rides or snow bus tours before
making your way back.
HARDER KULM (25 April - 25 Oct) - Famously known as Interlaken's
home mountain- Harder Kulm forms a short and delightful excursion
at the back door of this scenic Swiss city. The Harder Railway,
actually a funicular, is almost 100 years old and still going
strong! From the world famous resort of Interlaken, the little
red carriages climb the 1.4 km track to the Harder Kulm (1,322
m ) giving a breathtaking bird's eye view of the entire Jungfrau
Region. The Alpine foothills to the north and mighty 4000-metre
peaks to the south form a garland around the Harder. This attractive
vantage point offers fine views of the Bernese Oberland.
Itinerary Highlights
Day 01 - Montreux /Gstaad
On arrival in Switzerland at either Zurich or Geneva airports,
transfer directly by train to Montreux or Gstaad.. Day at leisure
to explore your chosen destination. If in Gstaad, explore the
centre of the town which has developed into one of the most
popular shopping streets in Switzerland. If in Montreux, visit
the beautiful Chillon Castle or take the time to visit the Neighbouring
village of Gruyeres.Overnight in Montreux or Gstaad. Day
02 -
Montreux / Gstaad - Glacier 3000
This morning depart on an excursion to Glacier 3000. Make your
way to valley station Col du Pillon and then board the panoramic
cable car which takes you to the eternal snow at 3000 metres
in just 15 minutes. Dine at the Botta restaurant while enjoying
the spectacular view of the most beautiful Alpine peaks like
the Jungfrau, Matterhorn and the Mont Blanc. Experience Alpine
Coaster - the world's highest bobsleigh track, dog sled rides
or snow bus tours before making your way back to either Montreux
or Gstaad for your overnight stay.
Day 03 - Interlaken
Experience a rail trip by the GoldenPass line from either
Montreux or Gstaad to Interlaken, the captivating capital
of Switzerland's Bernese Oberland. Day at leisure to explore
Interlaken's Hoheweg- an inviting 700-meter long boulevard
with hotels, cosy cafes, fashion boutiques, watch and jewellery
stores. Overnight stay in Interlaken.
Day 04 - Interlaken
Today you have the option of visiting any of the spectacular
mountains in the region. Go to Jungfrau - Top of Europe or
nearby Schilthorn. You can also visit the spectacular Trummelbach
falls and spend the evening taking a dinner cruise on Lake
Brienz. Overnight in Interlaken.
Day 05 - Lucerne / Zurich
Make your way to Lucerne or Zurich for the last night. Lucerne,
known as the city of lights is the gateway to Central Switzerland.
Here u can use the time to walk on the most famous and historic
Chapel Bridge of Lucerne and also visit the Lion Monument.
If in Zurich, hop on to an optional Trolley tour, stroll along
the world famous Bahnhofstrasse or visit nearby Schaffhausen
to view the majestic Rhine Falls. Overnight in Lucerne / Zurich.
Day 6 - End of Tour
This morning depart to a Swiss border or airport or continue
your stay in Switzerland on your own.
