Lindner Alpentherme - Thermal Spa
The Lindner Alpentherme in Leukerbad is Europe's largest high-altitude
medical & Alpine wellness, beauty and thermal spa. The healing
and relaxing properties of Leukerbad's spa water have been bringing
people here for centuries. The thermal baths are supplied with
1.5 million litres of warm (51°) spa water from the St Laurent
Spring every day which has emerged to the surface in Leukerbad
after flowing underground for 40 years. Open 365 days a year
from 8 am to 8 pm this spa has an indoor thermal bath of 200
m2 with water temperatures of 36 and 40 degrees Celsius, and
an outdoor bath (300 m2, 36°) with breathtaking Alpine views.
Both pools are equipped with a number of integrated facilities
such as neck showers, underwater massage jets, bubble couches
and aero-hydro jets for you to discover!
Itinerary Highlights
Day 01 - Geneva / Lausanne / Montreux
Arrive and transfer to Geneva, Lausanne or Montreux. Rest of
the day at leisure. Overnight stay in your chosen town.
Day 02 - Geneva / Lausanne / Montreux
Today you have the time to explore your chosen town at leisure.
If in Geneva, you can visit all the international organizations
housed there. If you have chosen Lausanne do not forget to
visit the Olympic Museum and stroll along the beautiful lake
promenade. For those staying in Montreux, visit the beautiful
Chillon Castle, neighbouring village of Gruyeres, or take
some time to visit Gstaad and the exciting Glacier 3000. Overnight
in your chosen town.
Day 03 - Leukerbad
This morning you make your way to Leukerbad, the perfect
destination for holidays, sports, fitness and beauty treatments.
Discover the idyll Daubensee Lake on the famous Gemmi Pass
which was once a busy route between Valais and Bern. This
is the place that houses Europe's largest thermal baths. Overnight
in Leukerbad.
Day 04 - Leukerbad - Lindner Alpentherme
The history of the springs of Leukerbad date back to the
Roman times. Today 3.9 million litres of thermal water flow
from the springs and feed 22 thermal pools. Now is your chance
to experience it. Spend your day rejuvenating yourself in
the relaxing thermal baths of Lindner Alpentherme - the largest
and highest situated thermal spa centre in the European Alps.
Overnight in Leukerbad.
Day 05 - Interlaken
Transfer by train from Leukerbad to Interlaken, the captivating
capital of Switzerland's Bernese Oberland. Day at leisure
to explore Interlaken's Hoheweg- an inviting 700-meter long
boulevard with hotels, cosy cafes, fashion boutiques, watch
and jewellery stores. Overnight stay in Interlaken.
Day 06 - Interlaken
Today you have the option of visiting any of the spectacular
mountains in the region. Go to Jungfrau - Top of Europe or
nearby Schilthorn. You can also visit the spectacular Trummelbach
falls and spend the evening taking a dinner cruise on Lake
Brienz (May to Aug. only). Overnight in Interlaken.
Day 07 - End of Tour
Depart to a Swiss border or airport or continue your stay
in Switzerland on your own.
