Coonoor	Coorg	Gokarna

Coonoor is un-crowded little hill station in the Nilgiris. Radiant with tea plantations, gardens and flowers, Coonoor has an unpolluted, unhurried grace, making it quite the place for a peaceful sojourn. Though the town has traditionally been over shadowed by big brother and popular neighbor Ooty.	Coorg is on the Western Ghats. Set amidst verdant valleys, imposing mountains and teak wood forests, this is one of the most beautiful hill stations you can visit. It lies on Karnataka's southwestern end, covering an area of 4,102 sq km.	Gokarna appeals both to the spiritually inclined as well as to the beachcomber. It is a very small town and you can see all of it in an hour. Tourists, both foreign as well as domestic have been coming here for ages but the facilities are still very basic.

Golden Palms	Hassan	Kabini

Golden Palms is a spa retreat that spoils you silly. It is set in a 70,000 square feet area complete with restaurants, bars, a large swimming pool, conference hall and sports facilities. The spa is beautifully landscaped and is designed to instill tranquility.	Hassan was the seat of power for the Hoysala Empire that ruled large parts of south India in the 11th to the 13th century. The town was named after the presiding deity, Goddess Hasanamba. There is a famous temple dedicated to the Goddess in the heart of the town.	The Kabini River, a tributary of the Kauvery, flows quietly through the Nagarhole National Park, encircling a patch of green called Kabini. This exuberant jungle is home to leopard, gaur, antelope, crocodile, tiger, cobra, python and herds of elephant among other animals.

Ooty	Yercaud

Ooty also known as Udhagamandalam is the "Queen of hill stations" and the capital of Nilgiris district. It is one of the most popular tourist resorts in India. Nilgiris means "Blue Mountains". One of the reasons people like to visit hill stations is that, they not only offer a respite from the dust and pollution of the city.	Yercaud is a small, unpretentious hill station in the Shevaroy Hills near Salem in Tamilnadu. The little town of Yercaud has an untouched landscape and a graceful, unhurried charm. Yercaud is surrounded by coffee plantations and thickly wooded hills that offer some wonderful trekking routes.
